about

Recorded in one day-long session with Rob Halverson of Halversonics Recording in Austin, Texas, the instrumental trio's debut recording encapsulates everything from the funky fusion-jazz of Herbie Hancock and the daring grandeur of Tortoise to Eno-esque church-inspired soundscapes and the austerity of late-period Talk Talk. The music is beautiful, sometimes haunting, always memorable. An experimental album in the sense that it challenges & rewards listening, casual or careful, it gives the illusion that they composed & prepared their music when, in fact, it is improvised.

Special thanks to Brian Nicolete for helping with the naming & the ordering of the tracks.

This is the first release by Self Sabotage Records (SS-01), Austin TX.

A very limited-release LP edition coming out in the future.
